We shall place ourselves on the Court Record as acting for you in the divorce proceedings and your case will be managed from start to finish by Rebecca Oakley.

Divorce

This is a service for uncomplicated undefended divorce proceedings and does not include advice and representation in arrangements for children or financial settlements. We shall be able to advise whether your matter is suitable for a fixed fee arrangement, in the first interview.

Undefended Divorce – Petitioner

Court fees are currently £550.00 for the Petition including Decree Absolute

£450.00 plus VAT and Court fees

Undefended Divorce – Respondent

£180.00 plus VAT

N.B. It may be possible to have a fixed fee agreed for divorces where there are children and financial matters to be addressed, please telephone Rebecca Oakley Family Law solicitors to discuss the suitability of your matter for Fixed Fee assistance and representation.

Civil Partnership agreements, Cohabitation agreement, Deeds of Separation,

Prenuptial and Post Nuptial Agreements:

Fixed fees from £ 1,000.00 plus VAT, quotes provided on a case by case basis

Wills and Lasting Power of Attorney

All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate of 20% and National Will Registration Fees.

Wills

Our fee includes meeting with you to discuss and explain all the relevant issues, preparing the Will, arranging for the Will to be signed and witnessed, providing a copy for you and secure storage of the original (if desired) with the District Probate Registry Service (not including the Court fees)and Registration of the Will with Certainty ( National Will Register).

Basic Will: £198.00 (inclusive of VAT)

Mirror Wills suitable for spouses/partners: £378.00 (inclusive of VAT)

For complex or bespoke wills it may be necessary to make an additional charge. In such event we will notify you before the work is carried out so you can decide how you wish to proceed.

Lasting Powers of Attorney

For an LPA to take effect it has to be formally ‘registered’ with the ‘Office of the Public Guardian’. Upon Registration Court Fee (currently £82 for each document) is payable.

Fee Exemptions or Reductions are possible. We will advise if applicable and, if so, help you to complete the appropriate claim forms.

Our fee includes meeting with you to discuss and explain the relevant issues, preparing and, where possible, certifying the LPA. Then arranging for the LPA to be signed and witnessed. Carrying out all the necessary Court applications / notifications up to and including the final production / registration of the LPA. We will provide legally certified copies of the LPA to send out to relevant organisations.

£300.00 plus VAT (excluding £82 Court registration fee) for each Lasting Power of Attorney

Registration of Enduring Powers of Attorney or unregistered Lasting Power of Attorney

£300.00 plus VAT (excluding £82 Court registration fee)
